2. Recognize the relevance of epidemiology in health and healthcare
3. Describe the measurements of disease frequency and calculate and interpret the commonly used measures
4. Apply the study designs appropriately to study the distribution and determinants of disease and health
5. Calculate and interpret the measures of risk in research studies
6. Apply the principles of methods used in epidemiology in medical practice
